Proudly Australian owned and operated, both Raw for Birds and Feather Chef Bird Food are deeply rooted in local values and sustainability. Raw for Birds partners with Australian farms to source organic and transitional organic ingredients, supporting eco-conscious agriculture while ensuring premium quality. Meanwhile, Feather Chef blends are hand-crafted in Brisbane by a team of experienced bird breeders and keepers—bringing expert care and freshness to every mix.

In 2020, Timothy shared one of his recipes with Queenslander Aviaries, and it quickly gained popularity. The positive feedback was overwhelming, and he knew he had to share his passion for raw food with other bird lovers. And that's how Raw for Birds was born.

In 2024 Feather Chef, a new range of bird food and treats came onto the market and it quicky became a favourite with bird owners.

Fast forward to April 2025, the Queenslander Aviaries parent company STUJ Pty Ltd made the move to integrate Feather Chef Bird Food and bring it into the one company with Raw for Birds.

The overall mission and philosophy of both companies and brands are perfectly aligned to ensure that our feathered friends receive a natural diet inclusive of seeds, nuts, fruits, herbs and spices to meet the unique dietary needs of specific bird species.
